David Dunne, Ph.D.

Adjunct Professor of Marketing, Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto

Professor David Dunne is an award-winning marketing professor, holding the University of Toronto President’s Teaching Award and the prestigious 3M Fellowship, Canada’s only national award for university teaching across disciplines. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from the University of Toronto and has an extensive background as a marketing manager in Europe and North America with Unilever and Young & Rubicam Advertising. Professor Dunne launched and managed several well-known products in the packaged goods industry and consulted leading companies in the packaged goods and pharmaceuticals industries. He is regularly quoted in the media on marketing strategy, advertising and related issues. Prof. Dunne has taught workshops in North America, Europe and Asia and his current research interests include the impact of design thinking on management education.

Prof. Doug Hyatt, Ph.D.

Professor of Business Economics, Rotman School of Management, University of Toronto

Professor Doug Hyatt teaches micro- and macroeconomics for Omnium and other Rotman Executive MBA programs. His research interests are primarily in the area of labour economics, particularly wage and employment determination. Professor Hyatt applies his expertise in legal disputes involving the valuation of economic losses, and to music and publishing copyright tariff matters
